How long I have not been updating this blog, I wonder...
By the way, I would like to share with everyone a piece of poem made by me... I was truly inspired by the performance put up the Malay Cultural Group (MCG) Production last weekend that I decided to come with the poem entitled The Odyssey of Life (the word 'Odyssey' itself was used for the title of the play).
In any case, I do hope I am sincere in doing this... However, one thing for sure; there is underlying meanings and it is up to you, readers, to interpret those verses in the poem. And yes, no plagiarism is allowed (well, you may use it for some reasonable purposes such as creating awareness to people whom concerned).
The Odyssey of Life
The world rhymes...
...And man forgets at times
Every second, he commits crimes...
...Incurring destructions...
...Because of his sinful indulgences
He seeks pleasures...
...To fulfill his heart's desires...
...Without a tinge of gratefulness
And here comes death...
...Snatching man's last breaths...
...With grief & remorse as aftermaths
Death is the ripping of a soul from a body...
...Emerging in man's life unprecedentedly...
...And scything the living indiscriminately
Life is an odyssey...
...A man's mortal journey...
...In seeking tranquility...
...To create a true happiness...
....Through endurances & gratefulness...
...With laughter & shedding of tears
It is a lifetime learning...
...Through acceptance & repentance...
...To find man's destiny of existence
